The name is itself completely meaningful. Khasi Mara (Goat Killer) khukuri is making for sacrifice goat’s head in Dashain festival. Dashain is one of the biggest and best festivals of Nepalese people. It comes in autumn season. The festival is known as worshipped as KALI, DURGA. In this festival al the Nepalese people worshipped to Durga (The Power as well as the goddess of destruction) by cutting goat to make happy Durga. The blade shape has given traditional Bhojpure Khukuri. The handle is made of Rose Wood, where the metal of the blade in the handle area is flat and not narrow and pointed as in other knives (full tang). The blade is therefore visible all around the handle. The handle is joined strongly to the blade with two metal rivets that can be also seen at the both of kukri’s side. It has 15" Blade (Overall length with handle is 21"). It weighs about 1500 grams. The total shipping weight including display wooden stand with packing will 2.5 kg.
