Dhankuta is situated in eastern Nepal that is very near to Chainpur villages (southern part of Chainpur). This type of Khukuri is made in that place. The scabbard is made of Indian rosewood symbolize with the craftsmanship of the people of Dhankuta as well as Nepal. It is beautiful carved and embellished with brass binding, which makes it stand apart from other knives. The shape of the Dhankute Khukuri is similar to Chainpure Khukuri. There is beautiful engraved with Dragons, Temples or figures of gods on the blade of Dhankute Kukri. It has 5" Blade (Overall length with handle is 15"). The handle is made of Indian rosewood.
