Chainpur Village is located in the Eastern part of Nepal. This type of Khukuri is made at that place. The scabbard is made of Indian Rosewood with carved design by craftsmanship of the people of Chainpur. It has beautiful carved and embellished with brass binding, which makes it stand apart from other knives. It has a beautiful dragon both side of the blade. See the picture. It has 15" long blade while the wooden handle is 5.5” (Overall length is 20.5"). The Carved handle is made of Indian Rosewood. It weighs about 1100 grams.
