This is the largest and heaviest as well as largest Khukuri made in Nepal or even in the world. The blade is remarkable long. It has 36" long blade and measure 47 to 50" long with 11" wooden handle. It is used for chopping off the head of Buffaloes in one blow during the sacrificial ceremonies, Dashain (Greatest Festival of Hindus especially Nepalese people). Therefore it is known as Buff's head. The scabbard is made of Buffalo leather covered cotton-wood while the handle is made of wood. It weighs 5/6 kilos.
