11” Sirupate 2 chire khukuri:
This is another popular kukri used by the Gurkhas in the jungle. The knife derives its name from "Siru"(One kind of grass) which is a slender and narrow type of a leaf and is it very sharp. Hence it is called Sirupate Khukuri. Its looks like exactly the same one which is "SIRU". Its blade is straighter than and not as wide as other knives. This kukri is based on two fuller series. The sheath is made of Buffalo hide while the handle is Indian rose wood and mixed of bone. It is improvised with unique outstanding and more protective handle with 6 metal rivets for more strong and durability, designed to safe guard user’s hand at all times. The blade is 11" two fuller decoration groove semi-polished made of high graded carbon steel, razor sharp blade. The handle is full flat tang 5.5 inches long. The overall length of this kukri is 16.5 inches long. The kukri comes with Spine: 22-25 RC, Belly: 45-46 RC, Edge: 58-60 RC. I make all my kukri from truck or buss’s suspension leaf. The weight of this kukri is 800 grams including kukri and sheath.
