Chainpur is located in Eastern Nepal from which comes the name of this particular kukri. Hence it is called Chainpure leather khukuri. It has a beautiful blade and a unique handle also it has a full flat tang and attached three metal rivets for more durability and hand guard too. It makes this khukuri very unique than others. The buffalo leather is used to make scabbard. The length of the blade is 11 inches long and measures 16.5 inches with 5.5 inches long handle. This Khukuri weighs 800 grams including kukri and sheath. It is not military issue type kukri but is used in rural area of. The handle is made of wood and bone. The kukri comes with Spine: 22-25 RC, Belly: 45-46 RC, Edge: 58-60 RC. I use to make all my kukri from truck or buss’s suspension leaf. Two small knives, Karda & chakmak are included with this kukri.
